The Moldovan delegation visited Gabala.

On February 25 the delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Lilian Darii arrived in Gabala region. The guests were received by the Head of Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev. First, examining the stand dedicated to Heydar Aliyev in the administrative building of the Region Executive Power, the delegation got acquainted with the photos reflecting life and political activity of the genius person. During the meeting, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev spoke about the implementation of various projects in the social and economic sphere in Gabala and notable successes in all spheres. He also gave the guests detailed information about the history of Gabala, its cultural life, international events carried out in the region, sporting events, summits of Heads of State, as well as significant progress in all directions. It was told about the agricultural potential of the region, the progress made in the agricultural sector, new processing plants, equipped with modern technology, in particular best practices in the field of fruit-growing, grain-growing, live stock breeding and vine-growing. Moldovan guests were given information about the dynamics of tourist flow growth as a result of infrastructure projects undertaken in the tourism sector in recent years, they were told about the international events organized in Gabala. It was brought to attention that the world-famous musicians and musical groups participate in the international music festivals that take place here every year, the foreigners take part in these festivals along with local residents. Gabala nature and exoticism generate interest among them. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, in turn, thanked Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev for hospitality and attention. Lilian Darii brought to attention that Azerbaijan, namely the regions of the country, is rapidly developing. In particular, he noted that the socio-economic development and the delightful nature of Gabala were very fascinating, and impressions of this acquaintance left indelible good memories.
