The Martyrs Were Commemorated.

Commemoration ceremony of the martyrs of Bum settlement who died at the fights for the integrity of our land was held. The Deputy Head of region Executive Power Ataya Osmanova, Head of Educational Department Arifa Bayramova, directors of relevant offices and organizations, principles of regular schools and the teacher of the schools where the martyrs had been educated, as well as the representatives of the settlement community took part at the ceremony. Firstly, the grave of the April Martyr, Lieutenant Sahil Shirinov was visited and flowers were laid on it. The official part of the commemoration event was carried on in the settlement’s full secondary school named after Tabriz Yagubov, where the martyrs had been educated. The event participants observed a minute of silence for the memories of our fellow citizens who became martyrs for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Making a speech at the ceremony, the Deputy Head of the region Executive Power Ataya Osmanova spoke about the adequate rebuff given by Azerbaijani Army to the Armenian occupants, and about the heroism demonstrated our military staff during the battle of Karabakh. He noted that Azerbaijan Armed Forces are always ready to liberate our lands from the enemy occupation. In her speech, the Head of the Education Department Arifa Bayramova mentioned that during the last April battle, the enemy was incapable of doing something before the power of our army, and retreated with huge losses. She said in her speech that the strong army and soldiers of Azerbaijan, which today have the determination to win, causes a panic among the Armenian invaders, and that they once again made sure that Azerbaijani people will never compromise their own lands to those invaders. Afterwards, Head of the regional branch of the Public Union of Karabakh War Disabilities, Veterans and Martyrs Families Imran Mustafayev, Chairman of Gabala Regional Organization of Red Crescent Society Sadagat Bayramova, editor of "Gabala" newspaper Varis Yagubov, Director of Bum settlement full secondary school Malahat Dadashova, teachers and family members of the martyrs, and others made speeches. It was noted during the speeches that our martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country will never be forgotten, their dear memories will remain forever in our hearts. In the end, the literary-artistic composition, dedicated by the students to the martyrs of the settlement, was shown.
