The III Gabala International Cup was started.
Today was the start of the tournament of the III Gabala International Cup, being already a tradition, between teams consisting of players under 15 years old. Welcoming the participants of the tournament with introductory speech, Vice President of "Gabala" Sports Club, Fariz Najafov, told fans about the importance of Gabala Cup and wished them every success.
In the III Gabala International Cup, which has gone down in history as an international tournament in our country between the clubs by age groups, along with teams such as "Liverpool" (UK), "Fenerbahce" (Turkey), "Anderlecht" (Belgium), "Rapid" (Austria), "Lokomotiv" (Russia), "Udinese" (Italy), Azerbaijan was represented by teams of "Neftchi" and "Gabala". The tournament comes to an end on June 1st.
The main reason for the tournament to be held these days is the final stages of the championships in many countries and the opening of the Gabala tourist season as per June.
