International Grand Prix competitions on stand shooting started in Gabala.
“Gabala” Shooting Club once again hosts one of the great sports contests. From early hours of the 8th of May, International Grand Prix competitions on stand shooting, which was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the great Leader Heydar Aliyev, started in the sports base of the club - Gabala Stand and Archery Complex. 70 athletes from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russia, Iran, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain take part in the contest held with the organizational support of “Gabala” Shooting Club, Azerbaijan Shooting Federation, and support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. There are prominent shooters of the world, World and Europe Champions, and winners of Olympic Games among the participants of the international contest. At the prestigious competition to be continued until the 12nd of May, the athletes will compete for 6 medals. The official opening ceremony of the contest will took place on the 10th of May.
