The first trip into the world of culture and cooking of Azerbaijan will be organized for travelers from the United States.
On July 3-10 for the first time in Azerbaijan an excursion into the world of culture and cooking will be organized for tourists from the United States. The tour starts from the capital of Baku and continues in several regions of the country, including the Gabala region. The program includes familiarization with the heritage of the Nij settlement, which preserved various cultural and culinary traditions. Excursion for a small group of American travelers and volunteers is organized to familiarize them with the peculiarities of the cuisine and culture of Azerbaijan. As part of the tour, master classes will be conducted by chefs in restaurants and local cooks in the houses in the region, the order of cooking will be presented. The guests will visit local markets, wineries, historical sites, museums, craft workshops, meet with artists and take part in other cultural events. The famous culinary historian, President of the Association of Culinary Historians of the Southern California, Charles Perry, other members of the organization, professors and amateurs in the field of cooking and culture will be among the participants of the tour.
