An educational seminar on the safe use of Internet services was held.
"Aztelecom" Limited Liability Company of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies organized a seminar in the Gabala region on the topic of protecting children from threats in the Internet. At the seminar, held in an interactive form, the schoolchildren were explained ways to protect themselves from harmful content on the Internet. The students, teachers and parents who took part in the event held in secondary school No.5 of Gabala city were given information about the service, playing the role of "information filtration", and provided to Internet users of "Aztelecom" LLC. Thanks to this service, users filter web pages that negatively affect the mind of people, in particular, kids. Thus, access to the Internet sites reflecting crime, immorality and aggression is taken under control, a ban on visiting unwanted sites is introduced. When children try to enter unwanted sites, this service restricts access to pages. The Head of the Department of "Aztelecom" LLC Emin Guliyev informed the seminar participants that not only parents of kids, but also legal entities can use this service to improve efficiency during working hours. "Parents should know that special filter programs are available to protect children from such threats. We, "Aztelecom" LLC, offer our users a secure Internet service." Concerning the rules of using the service, it was said that users, creating the "White List", compile a list of desirable Internet resources. At the same time, adding dangerous resources to the "Black List", they can limit their use.
