The participants of the Baku meeting of the News Agencies World Congress Council visited Gabala.

The Chairman of the News Agencies World Congress Council, president of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Bin Fahd Al-Hussein, Chief Executive Officer of the Agency «Press Association» of United Kingdom, Clive Marshall, and other guests arrived in Gabala on May 31st. On June 1st, they got acquainted with "Tufandag" Winter Summer Tourism Holiday Complex. They've been informed that the first phase of construction of the complex was put into commission with participation of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, in January of this year. The delegation was also informed about the construction of four cable lines in the framework of the first phase of construction of the complex, the completion of five of the ten ski roads, the systems of artificial snow production for all pistes and possibility to render services for 3 thousand people per day in the complex, that has a particular importance in terms of developing new direction of tourism in Azerbaijan.
Thereafter, the delegation arrived at "Heydar Aliyev Congress Center" in Gabala. They got acquainted with the multifunctional conference hall for 1200 seats, placed on the second floor of the building. The delegation was informed that the building has a stage of 92 square meters, VIP and security rooms, premises for the masters of the arts and the press, a spacious lobby, and the conference room quickly transforming into a flat state by lowering the seats for concerts and meetings in the short term.
Then the participants of the Baku meeting of the News Agencies World Congress Council arrived at the «Beltmann» Piano Factory of «Gilan Piano» LLC. In the factory, the guests got acquainted with the production process. It was noted that the factory, which has no analogues in the world and meets the latest international standards, is manufacturing 1200-1500 pianos a year.
Under the project, the guests visited the Local History Museum of Gabala region, storing more than 12,000 exhibits of history and science, reflecting the 2500-year history of Gabala, and studied the archaeological, ethnographic, numismatic materials, samples of folk arts and crafts, ancient manuscripts and printed materials.
The participants of the Baku meeting of the News Agencies World Congress Council also visited Gabala shooting club and got acquainted with the administrative building, shooting galleries, firing ranges, training centers, shop of shooting and hunting goods and dining room, built on a mountain area of 25 hectares.
Interested in modern infrastructure of Gabala Region, guests got acquainted with the "Gafgaz Karvansaray" hotel complex. It was reported that the four-storey complex was built according to the modern standards.
The participants of the Baku meeting of the News Agencies World Congress Council mentioned that Gabala has a major infrastructure and expressed their confidence that the natural space of Gabala will arouse great interest of the tourists arriving here. They expressed satisfaction with the dynamic socio-economic development of Gabala, creating enterprises, based on the modern technologies.
