Israeli pianists breathed a new life into the program of Gabala festival with their virtuous performances.
It is the fourth day that the X Gabala International Music Festival goes on making glad music lovers and guests of the city with each more interesting than the last concert program. “Multipiano” music night was organized with participation of Israeli musicians in the chamber hall of Heydar Aliyev Congress Center in Gabala city on August 2 within the festival. At the beginning of the concert it was informed that “Multipiano” is original piano project connecting four virtuous pianists of Israel. In 2015 “Multipiano” was awarded by Israeli Ministry of Culture prize as “Best Israeli Ensemble”. “Multipiano” started in 2010-2011 within Buchmann-Mehta School of Music that is joint project of Tel-Aviv University and Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. “Multipiano” project consisting of the three brightest young pianists and their leader - Tomer Lev, who is one of the most eminent musicians of the country, drew international attention from the first years of its operation. The works-“Larghetto” & “Allegro” of W.A.Mozart, “Concertino” of D.Shostakovich, “Romance” & “Waltz” of S.Rachmaninoff, “Sonata” of B.Smetana and other European composers were played in the music night. Performing skill of Israeli musicians Tomer Lev, Berenika Glixman, Almog Segal, Ayal Peleg Pelc and Nimrod Natanel Meiry-Haftel was acclaimed by the audience.
