Gabala Family and Children Support Center held the event on World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year
Gabala Family and Children Support Center held the festive event on the occasion of 31 December World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day for 40 physically disabled children. 150 persons - 40 physically disabled children with their parents as well as heads of office and organizations participated in the event. Director of Family and Children Support Center, Rana Mahmudova opened the event, wished everyone a Happy New Year and afterwards gave the floor to the head of Gabala region executive power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev. The head of regional executive power gave information about the state’s attention devoted to physically disabled children in our country and measures assumed for treatment as well as development of education and creative abilities of those children. Thereupon Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev congratulated physically disabled children and all participants of the event on the occasion of a World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year. 58 paintings by the local painters Gadir Moylanov, Mahmud Ibrahimli and physically disabled children Gorkhmaz Mustafayev, Sakina Ibrahimli, Samir Amirshahli were displayed as well as sales exhibition for nearly 70 handicrafts prepared by Vafa Mustafayeva, Aygun Mehdizada, Rana Abdurrahmanova, Gulayat Israfilova, Khadija Eyvazova, Chinara Mustafayeva was held. New Year’s gifts were presented to physically disabled children and financial assistance was provided to needy families in the event. V form pupils of the secondary school No. 2 provided voluntarily financial assistance to the family. The event was completed with concert program organized by cultural figures of the region.
