Young mugham singers of Azerbaijan caused unforgettable moments in the audience of Gabala festival.

International Music Festival that is one of the great projects of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, goes on successfully in Gabala city. Mugham night that has been included to the program of the festival and the audience and guests of the city looked forward to, finally took place. The well-known young mugham singers of Azerbaijan caused unforgettable holiday with their great performances in about two thousand people assembling there on the open stage set in front of Heydar Aliyev Congress Centre on August 2 at 9 p.m. At the concert, “Mahur” tasnif and “Heydar Babaya salam” song sung by singer Abgul Mirzaliyev who came in second in “2007 Mugham – Television Competition” organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, “Bayati-shiraz” tasnif and “Olmaz-olmaz” folk song sung by Sabina Arabli who is winner of the competition held in 2011, Jahangir Jahangirov’s “Gara gyozler” sung by Kamila Nabiyeva who came in second in that competition including “Gonchalab” song composed by Afrasiyab Badalbayli for “Dumanli Tabriz” play of Mammed Said Ordubadi, and “Karabakh Shikastasi” sung by the singers together, “Jahargah” mugham rang sung by instrumental ensemble leaded by Honored Artist, tar player Sahib Pashazada were acclaimed by the audience. Honored artists – Toghrul Asadullayev - kamancha, Chinara Heydarova - kanun, Emin Jabrayilov - nagara, Azad Alimammadov - balaban, Shafa Karimov - oud accompanied the talented and young mugham singers. According to the program of the festival, the concerts of chamber orchestra of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, Budapest “Gypsy band” and “Gaytaghi” ensemble will be presented to the audience on August 3.
