The X Gabala International Music Festival ended.

The X Gabala International Music Festival held under the organization of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and with the support of Ministry of Culture and “Gilan Holding”, ended successfully on August 7. The festival that has become nice tradition could draw attention of music world with its gradiosity to Gabala this time, as well. World famed conductors, performers and collectives from Russia, Israel, USA, Switzerland , Austria, Cuba, Hungary, Turkey, Spain, Italy, George, as well as well-know music collectives of Azerbaijan participated in the music holiday which started on July 30 and lasted for nine days. Local music lovers and guests of the city got opportunity to watch concerts of Students Symphony Orchestra of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, “Jóvenes Clásicos Del Son” band of Cuba, virtuous pianists of Israel, Azerbaijani young mugham singers accompanied by Instrumental ensemble, “Baku Chamber Orchestra” of Baku Music Academy, "Gaytaghi" instrumental ensemble leaded by people’s artist, virtuous accordion player Anvar Sadigov, “Budapest Gypsy Band” music band that came from Hungary, “Clarte” clarinet quartet, world famed Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra of Israel and Tbilisi “Big Band” orchestra of George on the days that the festival lasted. One of the concerts of the festival was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of great Azerbaijani composer Gara Garayev. Thousands of attendances watched with great pleasure these concerts held in the chamber hall of Heydar Aliyev Congress Center and open stage as well as Regional Cultural Centre in Gabala. Closing ceremony and last concert of the X Gabala International Music Festival took place in Gabala region Culture Centre on August 7. The representatives of organizational bodies of the festival, Deputies of Milli Majlis, famous musicians, local music lovers and guests of the city participated in the ceremony. “Viva opera” concert program accompanied by Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, was presented for the audience in the closing ceremony. Overture and Don Basilio aria from the opera "The Barber of Siville" of G.Rossini, arias from the operas “Gianni Schicchi”, “Tosca” and Musetta's waltz from the opera “La Bohème”, Manon’s aria and İntermezzo from the opera “Manon Lescaut”of G.Puccini, Leporello's aria and Don Giovanni and Zerlina duet from the opera “Don Giovanni” of W.A.Mozart, arias from “La forza del destino”, "Don Carlo" and “Otello” operas of G.Verdi, Werther's aria from the opera “Werther” of J.Massenet and “Khorogly’s aria from the opera “Khorogly” of great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli were performed at the concert held with conducting of famous Spanish Composer Salvador Brotons. The performances of Giorgy Chelidze (George ), Elnara Mammadova, Adil Akhundov, Maharram Huseynov, Chiara Isotton (Italy), Mine Kurtoğlu (Turkey) and People’s Artist Samir Jafarov were acclaimed by the audience. The soloists sang together “Brindisi” from “La Traviata” of G.Verdi at the end of the concert. The X Gabala International Music Festival ended with fireworks.
