The "Day of Knowledge" was celebrated in Gabala region.
In connection with the start of the new school year, the "Day of Knowledge" was celebrated in 68 general schools of the region. Speakers at the meeting congratulated the representatives of the public on the occasion of the significant event; they spoke about the purposeful measures implemented in our country in the field of education, about attention and care given to education by President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Milli Majlis MP Mehriban Aliyeva. At the festive celebrations, it was mentioned that 32 new school buildings were built as a clear evidence of care for the education sector in the Gabala region, which entered the path of intensive development in recent years, 8 schools were overhauled, all repaired schools were provided with modern technical equipment, libraries, gyms, subject rooms, laboratories have been created, modern computers were provided to the students and teachers. It was noted that as a result of the fact that the attention to the development of educational institutions has become sustainable, new school buildings of modular type for 80 pupils for the general education school in Laza village and for 56 pupils for the primary school in Zargarli village, the roofing of the complete secondary school of Bum village, complete secondary school No. 1 in Zaragan village and the complete secondary school of Mammadaghali village was completed. It was noted that in the coming days a new school building will be built for 380 pupils for the full secondary school No. 2 of Vandam settlement, as well as the installation of a full modular secondary school for 80 pupils in Garadein village and an elementary school for 20 pupils in Shafili village. Speakers at the event, teachers and students expressed their gratitude to the head of state for his attention and care, and for the conditions created.
