This year Gabala farmers planted tobacco on an area of 75 hectares.

This year, on the farms of the Gabala region, tobacco was planted on an area of 75 hectares. Farmers from Gabala in the current season have grown 15 hectares of fragrant "Virginia", 24 hectares of "Burley", 36 hectares of "Immunium" and other local tobacco varieties. At the moment, the farms continue to harvest tobacco. To date, farmers have cropped from the fields 300 tons of green tobacco mass. In general, tobacco is grown in Mamayli, Ovjullu, Bayramkokhaly, Boyuk Amili and Ziring villages. This season, more than 100 local residents are involved in sowing, growing and collecting tobacco. Last year, farmers of the region received more than 100 tons of dry tobacco from an area of 70 hectares.
