A railway line is being laid in Gabala.
The works are continued on laying a railway to the Gabala region, which is one of the centers of tourism in Azerbaijan. The works were started on the new road, laid in the direction of Gabala, separated from the Baku-Boyuk Kesik railway. The railway to the area will be laid, turning from Leki station. At first, the road will go from Baku to Leki station, then after Leki will go out to the right, going through the territory of Agdash to Gabala airport. Construction materials for railway laying are imported from the western and north-western regions. 20 km of the railway line are located in a mountainous territory of the Gabala region. A project was prepared for work on the territory, a land plot was allocated and work began on the territory. During the construction of a 43-km single-line railway, 75 drainage lines, 14 tunnels and a bridge will be built, a station will be built on the territory of Garagan-Shikhlar village of Agdash region on the 15th km of the railway, a terminal station will be built near the Gabala airport. At the moment, the construction of a 27-meter bridge on the 14th kilometer of the railway is conducted.
