A meeting-reception was held in the Amirvan village of the region.

The meeting was attended by the heads of law enforcement agencies, service organizations and representatives of the rural community. Opening the event with an introductory speech, the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev informed the meeting participants in detail about the measures that are stipulated in the state program of regional social and economic development in all settlements of the region, including Amirvan village. Sabuhi Abdullayev noted that the development of agriculture and the economy as a whole plays an important role in improving the well-being of the population, in turning it into something more guaranteed, from this point of view certain work was also done in Amirvan. The Head of REP emphasized the greatest development of particularly livestock and agriculture in the territory. He said that in order to live even better, in order to achieve high results in the fundamentals of modern economic management, it is necessary to expand and develop other areas of agriculture, such as walnut growing, sericulture, fruit growing. It was noted that village residents who wish to work in the organization of all activities and address social problems will be provided with comprehensive assistance. Then the villagers were heard. The meeting participants expressed deep appreciation to President Ilham Aliyev for the successful implementation of social projects carried out in our region. In their speeches, they asked to pave the 19-km long Boyuk Amili - Bylykh - Amirvan road, lay a gas line, install a new transformer in the village, repair water and electricity supply lines to the settlement, provide the population with wood in winter and build a new medical center. In connection with the execution of the proposals put forward, the resolution of issues under the jurisdiction of the regional organizations, the Head of the Region Executive Power gave relevant instructions to the heads of these organizations. He noted that the gas line and asphalt road are laid in accordance with the state program, and brought to the attention that, according to the instructions of the Head of State, in the coming years there will be no settlement without gas supply in the region, asphalting works will be completed in stages.
