The participants of “Let`s know our country” tour-action left Gabala favorably impressed.
Pupils from Bilasuvar, Hajigabul, Kurdamir, Ujar, Zardab, Jabrayil, Jalilabad, Gubadli (Sumgait), Saatli and Sabirabad regions participating in tour-action held on the route of Gabala-Shaki-Zagatala under the slogan of “Let`s know our country” became closely acquainted with Gabala region within the action. The participants of the tour-action were informed about the rich history of Gabala that is one of the most ancient regions of Azerbaijan. It was noted that the nationally significant old architectural monuments of the region are considered as the rare pearls of our cultural heritage. The participants of the action were given detailed information about successes obtained in social, economical and cultural life of Gabala that was the capital of Caucasian Albania for 900 years, became one of the nicest cities of the Azerbaijan by developing today rapidly and was set in the background of synthesis of antiquity and modernity, the geography and ethnography of the region, employment of its population. The pupils became closely acquainted with the historical and cultural places, recreation and health centers, manufacturing sites and modern tourism infrastructure of the region within the visit. “What?” “Where?” “When?” intellectual games were held, gifts - given to the winners and theatrical performances and concert programs were organized in the leisure time of the pupils within the action. The pupils participating in the tour-action left Gabala favorably impressed.
