The pupils of Gabala began excursion to north region from Guba.
Our pupils who went on an excursion to the north region of our country on November 18 within the educational tour-action held under the slogan of “Let’s know our country” in accordance with the task of Head of State were met in Guba. After visiting the monument of national leader in cultural and recreational park named after Heydar Aliyev, the pupils were given detailed information about the region. It was informed that in recent years great works were done in the direction of development of agrarian and processing areas, especially tourism industry in Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz like other regions of our country. This region is known with its historical places as well. The pupils were informed that north region of Azerbaijan is attractive location for its economy as well as development of tourism. In recent years necessary measures were taken for building of tourism infrastructure in this region. The number of tourists who come to “Shahdag” Tourism Center is increasing year by year. This centre distinguishes with its beauty in all seasons of nature. After the welcoming ceremony, the participants of tour-action, who came to Heydar Aliyev Centre, looked at the museum reflecting the life and activity of great leader here. Then the pupils became closely acquainted with Youth Centre.
