The pupils of Gabala visited the places of interest in north region.
Our pupils who participate in the educational tour-action became acquainted with ancient Guba and Gusar that is considered the north gate of Azerbaijan on November 19. The pupils who began excursion from Girmizi settlement where mountain Jews live compactly, were informed that Jews live together with the Azerbaijani at peace and tranquility. History of compactly inhabitation of mountain Jews in Guba dates back to the middle of the XVIII century. The pupils visited Heydar Aliyev Park and became acquainted with synagogue as well as Taghli bridge over Gudyalchay river in the settlement. The participants of tour-action visited “Gadim Guba" carpet weaving enterprise operating in the city, Juma mosque having rich architectural style and Guba Genocide Memorial Complex. They became closely acquainted with “ABAD Factory” production complex. In late afternoon the pupils went on an excursion to mountain waterfall located over Khinalig road.
