Solemn ceremony was held dedicated to June 15 – National Salvation Day

Regionwide  event  dedicated to  June 15- National Day of  Salvation  was  held  in Gabala  Cultural Centre.
At first, the  event  participants  laid  flowers  at the  monument    to  national leader  erected  in  city  centre  and  paid tribute  to  his  honourable  memory.
Afterwards,  Head  of Gabala  region Executive Power Mr.  Sabuhi Abdullayev   by  opening    the solemn  ceremony  continued  in the  audience  hall  of  cultural  centre  spoke  about the  importance  of   June 15, National Salvation  Day. Mr  Sabuhi Abdullayev  mentioned  that  National  Salvation  Day  started  after  historical  return  of  architect and  founder  of  Azerbaijan  State,  world-renowned  political  figure  Heydar  Aliyev  to power  in  June, 1993 is celebrated by  people  every  year  and  stressed  that  resolute  measures  taken  in the  field  of  our  country’s  salvation  from  real tragedies,   all-round  crisis,     ensuring  stability, returning    people’s confidence to themselves    is  the  benefit  of  Heydar Aliyev’s  policy,  logical consequence of the ideology of salvation. He said that, June  15  is  not  only  the day    of citizens’ salvation  from  misfortunes  but also the salvation  of  our   independence, statehood, rights, freedoms, economy, culture.
Speaker  stated that,  the  independent and  modern  Azerbaijan  founded  and  left  to us as a legacy  by  our  national  leader  has  transformed  into  powerful and rich country under the  leadership  of  our  honourable  President  Mr.  Ilham  Aliyev and brought  to the  attention that  our  strength  reflects  itself in   our solidarity  and  loyalty  to  our national  leader  ideas.
Afterwards, teacher of city full secondary school No 5  Tahir  Masimov, Art School teacher  Elnara Gojayeva and  doctor    of  central  hospital  Jeyhun Asadov  speaking   at the event pointed  out that  declaration  of  Azerbaijan realities to the  world, development  of  country’s  economic, industrial  potential, oil sector, strengthening  the  feelings  of  patriotism and  citizenship, protection  of  national and moral values, scientific,  cultural  development, all the reforms  carried  out in all spheres  of our  life, fascinating  achievements  gained  in the  establishment  of  state-building are connected  with the  name  of Heydar Aliyev.
At the end, a film depicting   Heydar Aliyev’s life and activity was demonstrated.
