400 pupils from 10 regions left Gabala region with rich impression.
This phase of the educational tour-action held under the slogan of “Let’s know our country” ended successfully. It is already the fifth year that these tour-actions are organized with the purpose of learning deeply of the history, culture, tradition and achievements gotten in the independence years, of our country, and are good instance of the attention and care of the President of Azerbaijan to education of the forming young generation in the spirit of patriotism. The groups consisting of the pupils of 10 regions- Aghdash, Fuzuli, Goygol, Siyazan, Tovuz, Guba, Gusar, Shabran, Khachmaz and Khizi- that began excursion on the route of Gabala-Shaki-Zagatala on November 18 within the project finished their excursion on November 21 and left for the regions where they live, from Gabala city. The pupils and accompanying people who stayed in “Karvansaray” and “Qafqaz Sport” hotels in Gabala city became closely acquainted with the places of interest, museums and historical spaces in Gabala, Shaki and Zagatala regions during the excursion. The pupils went on an excursion to Heydar Aliyev Congress Centre, “Tufandag” Winter Summer Tourism Holiday Complex, “Gilan” Food Town, Chukhur Gabala Historical and Cultural Reserve and “Chotari” Alban-Udi Church in Nij settlement in Gabala. The competition on “What?” “Where” “When” intellectual game was held among the pupils within the action, as well. According to the results of the game, the pupils of Guba, Siyazan and Khachmaz appropriately won the first three places. The winners were presented cup, medal and souvenir gifts.
