Communication workers celebrated their professional holiday.
On December 6, the professional holiday of workers in the field of communications and information technology was celebrated in Gabala. First, the participants of the event respectfully commemorated the great leader Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers at his monument. Then a meeting was organized in the “House of Communication”. At the event, in his speech, Etibar Isayev, acting head of the Gabala telecommunications hub, congratulated all workers in the field of communications and information technology on the occasion of their professional holiday. It was noted that this day was established by the decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev dated on December 2, 2006. Since then, throughout the Republic, communications and information technology workers have celebrated their professional holiday. Those who spoke at the meeting brought to the attention that the communication sphere in independent Azerbaijan began to develop during the years of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the work in this direction continues successfully thanks to the attention and care of the President Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that the head of state consistently carries out targeted work to introduce the most advanced technologies in Azerbaijan, provide high-quality services to the population, and create favorable conditions for the use of information technologies in society.
