Reporting meetings are held in the administrative-territorial areas of the region.

The administrative-territorial representative offices of the Gabala region hold reporting meetings regarding the work carried out in 2018 and the tasks ahead. The meeting, held on January 8 in the Aydingyshlag village of the region, was attended by the Deputy Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Ataya Osmanova, representatives of the rural community, intellectuals, elders and others. At the meeting, a representative of the Head of the Executive Power for this administrative territory, Shahin Khanjanov, made a report on the work carried out in 2018 and the tasks to be held in 2019. The representative noted that the 2018 year was successful for our republic. Many important and large-scale projects were implemented in Azerbaijan under the leadership of the President of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the influence of our republic in the international arena has increased even more. The Gabala region is also not lagging behind the rapid development of Azerbaijan; all socio-economic issues, construction and landscape works have been successfully implemented in the region. The speaker noted that in the Aydingyshlag village, also in 2018, works were carried out in accordance with the general development process of the region. Agricultural production in the territory has increased significantly compared with the previous year. In response to the instructions of the President regarding the increase in the production of agricultural products of export orientation and the care provided in the development of this area, in the village special attention is paid to the development of sericulture and walnut production. Last year, 60 g of silkworm seeds were raised in the village and 5.6 hectares of new nut gardens were planted. Considerable work has been done in solving social problems in this area. The building of the rural high school was completely renovated, and its territory was landscaped. To further improve the population’s need for drinking water, another artesian well was drilled in the village, and the rural roads were leveled with pebbles. The rural population was provided with uninterrupted electricity and natural gas. The executive representative gave the meeting participants detailed information about the works to be held in the village in 2019. Sevil Nabiyeva, director of the village secondary school, Imran Jabbarov, the head of the municipality of Aydingyshlag, Aladdin Isgandarov of the village elders, the teacher Sanani Mammadov and others spoke at the meeting. The Deputy Head of the Region Executive Power, Ataya Osmanova, who participated in the reporting meeting, informed the meeting participants about the measures taken in the socio-economic sphere in 2018 in the republic, including in the region. After analyzing the activities of the administrative and territorial representative office of Aydingyshlag village, she expressed confidence that in 2019 the activities of the administrative and territorial representative office would be even more successful. The corresponding draft decision was discussed and adopted at the reporting meeting.
