The event was held on World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year

The festive event was organized by Gabala region Executive Power in “Qafqaz Sport Hotel” on the occasion of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year.  Deputy Head on social and political and humanitarian issues, Ataya Osmanova opened the event and gave the floor to the head of executive power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev for sending his greetings. Congratulating Gabala people on the occasion of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year, the head of region executive power noted that 2013 went down in history as well as this year was successful year for comprehensive development of the region. Sabuhi Abdullayev stated that the large scale projects, new infrastructures, construction and installation, renovation and building works implemented in consequence of tireless work of our honourable President Mr. Ilham Aliyev made each of us be proud and honoured. Year upon year growing success, rapid progress of our country is the logical consequence of development line established by our national leader Heydar Aliyev and its maintenance by Ilham Aliyev with the great mastery and advance.  The head of region executive power emphasized that 2013 was important year for Azerbaijani nation as well as Gabala people as other previous years. Noting the changes in Gabala’s view made in the issue of large-scale renovation-refurbishment works, orator stated that Gabala had gained historical fame. He underlined that all assumed measures served to improve welfare of Gabala people, increase their living standards and yield spiritual comfort as well. Afterwards, head of region’s executive power head emphasized that Gabala had become the international cultural center, hosted the international forums, music festivals, art exhibitions and all these factors opened up great opportunities for representation of our region all over the world. He stated that our honourable President’s care and attention, conducted systematic works, definition of new targets on development gave reasons to say that our achievements would become more, fascinating region of our Republic, Gabala would develop, welfare of the people would get better day by day. Thereafter region’s executive power head presented awards to a group of persons playing an important role in the development and social life of the region as well as took an active part in the conducted construction works. The event was followed by gala concert of musical groups.
