A professional holiday of public officials was celebrated.
On June 23 a professional holiday of public officials was held in Gabala. First of all, government officials laid flowers at the monument of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, erected in the city center, expressed respect and reverence to the great leader. Then the event was continued in the auditorium of the Cultural Center of Gabala.
Opening the ceremony with introductory remarks, head of Executive Power of Gabala region Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev congratulated public officials with their professional holiday, noted that holiday declared by the decree of May 25, 2006 by the highly respected President Ilham Aliyev, is one of the conditions that characterize the formation of personnel building, development of flexible and efficient mechanisms that meet the modern requirements, in the public administration, as well as the democratic progress of the state.
Head of the District Executive Power noted the consistent continuation of reforms in the direction of establishing a national state, achieving by the ongoing reforms a high level of public rights and freedoms of person and citizen, and in general the service in the integration process of Azerbaijan into the international community.
Telling participants about the acceptance on July 21, 2000 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On state service", being the reform carried out in the sphere of public service, as one of the taken steps in this direction even during the presidency of Heydar Aliyev, as well as laying the basis for the formation of the unified state policy, said about the care and attention provided to the state employees. In conclusion of the event for the fruitful activity a group of civil servants has been awarded the Honorary Certificate of the District Executive Power.
