More than 74,000 people will undergo medical examination in Gabala.
Continuous measures are being taken to protect the health of the population in our country. According to president Ilham Aliyev's order and recommendation, the action for free medical examination of the population which has been organized for six years is one of such measures. Medical examination was arranged in an organized manner in the district. A unique commission was created in the executive power of the district and a plan of actions was prepared to ensure the inspections were carried out at a proper level. More than 74,000 people over the age of 18 are expected to be examined within the framework of the campaign. All kind of conditions have been created in purpose of medical examinations in the Central Hospital of the District, Medical Diagnostic Center, as well as in the settlement and rural medical points. 4179 citizens were examined during the campaign held in the district health centers between the date of 11th and 22nd February. Sick people detected in the hospital are being treated at the Central Hospital of Gabala. After the examinations, 21 were sent to specialized medical institutions, 288 were taken to outpatient treatment, while 28 people to hospital. Surgery was performed on 17 patients who is currently in more critical situation. The residents of Gabala expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for this noble action aimed at protecting people's health.
