Elders of Gabala in Gabala

At the initiative of the Council of Elders of Gabala Region a visit of the elders to the Shamakhi district was organized.
Arriving in Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasreddin Tusi elders got acquainted with the building of the observatory, the method of working, telescopes. During the excursion they have been impressed by the natural beauty of the observatory territory located in Pirgulu.
Then, visiting historic sites of Shamakhi elders got acquainted with a unique architectural style of Shamakhi mosque, age of which exceeds 300 years, restored and renovated by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
