Schoolchildren from 9 cities and regions participating in a tour-campaign under the motto “Learning our country” left Gabala with pleasant impressions.
The next stage of the educational tour-campaign, which is held under the motto “Learning Our Country” for the students of 9-11 school forms of cities and regions on the recommendation of President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, has been successfully completed. On March 17th, the participants of the tour-campaign got acquainted with modern production enterprises, historical sites, centers of tourism and recreation in the Gabala region. Then, an intellectual game was held among schoolchildren from 9 regions participating in the tour-campaign. The game, providing students with the opportunity to show their knowledge, was held in a tense struggle. According to the results of the competition, Ganja schoolchildren took the 1st place, Samukh students - 2nd place, and Shamkir team - 3rd place. On March 18, members of 9 groups from Ganja, Goygol, Samukh, Shamkir, Goranboy, Kalbajar, Khojaly, Tartar and Gadabay who took part in the tour-campaign on the Gabala-Shaki-Zagatala route, left Gabala for their regions. The participants of the tour-campaign, which were showed out by authorized employees of the Gabala Region Executive Power and the department of education, expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care provided to enhance their knowledge and outlook, to familiarize them with the regions of our country. Then a fleet of buses, which would take them from the Qafqaz Karvansaray and Qafqaz Sport hotels to their regions, left. According to the program, 320 schoolchildren from 9 cities and regions, from March 15 to 18, got acquainted with the works carried out in the direction of the socio-economic development of the Gabala, Shaki and Zagatala regions, social facilities built in recent years, entertainment and recreation centers, monuments of history and culture, tourist sites, museums.
