On May 8, 2019, the Gabala Region Department of Youth and Sports held at the Heydar Aliyev Center a round table on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani youth” in accordance with the action plan on the 96th anniversary of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. The active youth, teachers and students of the Tourism and Hotel Business Vocational Training Center, the Gabala State Vocational Training Center, as well as public representatives attended the event. The participants honored the memory of the Great Leader by laying flowers to his portrait sculpture. Then they visited the exhibition hall, reflecting the life and activities of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. After that, the Head of the Department of Youth and Sports Fakhri Soltanov, who opened the event with an opening speech in the conference hall, speaking about the activities of the great personality - National Leader Heydar Aliyev - in the field of working with young people, as well as in other areas in the life of the country, on promoting the law on the state youth policy for the development of Azerbaijani youth, the promotion of youth employment and social protection, noted that President Ilham Aliyev confidently confines to this successful policy today. Then, speaking on the report, Elchin Taghiyev, Head of the NAP Organization of the Gabala region, and Tahir Masimov, a teacher at the Gabala city full secondary school No. 5, told about the life and activities of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, his successful promotion of stability and dynamism in his native Azerbaijan, building an army, socio-economic development, science and education. At the end of the event, answers were given to the participants' questions about the life and activities of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
