Meliorators celebrated their professional holiday.
On the occasion of the Water Management and Melioration Employees' Day, the staff of the Gabala Irrigation Systems Department honored the bright memory of a great personality by laying fresh flowers at the monument to the great leader Heydar Aliyev in the city center. Then a meeting was organized on the occasion of a professional holiday. The meeting was opened by Gudrat Hamidov, Head of the Irrigation Systems Department, and spoke about the path traveled by Melioration and Water Management OJSC, the work done in our republic, and the state care provided to meliorators. It was noted that the objectives of the development of melioration and irrigation in Azerbaijan were achieved in 1969-1982 during the rule of the Republic by national leader Heydar Aliyev. After his return to power in 1993, a new stage began in the development of this area. The attention of the great leader to the development of melioration and water management is currently being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. As a result, there are currently melioration and water management complexes in the Republic with large irrigation systems and collector-drainage networks. Speakers at the meeting told about the events connected with irrigation water held in the region, expressed gratitude to the head of state for the attention and care for this area. Then, a group of employees was awarded diplomas for many years of decent work and proper fulfillment of their obligations.
