This year, construction of a Children's Rehabilitation Center will be started in Gabala.
In accordance with the decree of President Ilham Aliyev, important steps are being taken to improve the rehabilitation infrastructure for disabled people and children with disabilities. In addition, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population is starting work on expanding the network of rehabilitation facilities in the regions of our republic. Thus, in the second half of this year it is planned to build a Children's Rehabilitation Center in the Gabala region. In a rehabilitation facility, 70 beds will provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for children with disabilities living in the region. In addition to physiotherapeutic procedures, children with disabilities in the institution will be involved in educational, professional, socially-oriented rehabilitation activities based on teaching methods. The creation of new children's rehabilitation centers in the regions will play an important role in improving the rehabilitation opportunities for children with disabilities living in the regions.
