The reception of raw cocoon started.

In the current season, the production of raw cocoon in the Gabala region is planned to increase more than twice compared with the previous year and reach 20 tons. An agreement was signed with 102 cocoon farmers about growing cocoons; they were given 500 boxes or 9.5 kg of silkworms. A few days have passed since the start of accepting the cocoon from manufacturers. In the first days, the Gabala cocoon farmers handed over to the receiving center 1,674 tons of cocoon. Recall that last year, the cocoon farmers of the region received 9.1 tons of raw cocoon from 236 boxes of silkworm.
