The youth of Gabala cleaned up the territory of the Alley of Martyrs.
About 70 young activists who joined the propaganda and agitation campaign entitled “I am a citizen of Azerbaijan”, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on June 10 in Gabala city, organized a volunteer clean-up on the Martyrs Alley. First, the participants of the action laid flowers at the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Gabala and honored the memory of the genius leader. Speaking at the event held at the Martyrs' Memorial Complex, the Head of the Region Youth and Sports Department, Fakhri Soltanov, said that the main goal of the campaign, implemented to ensure the relevant paragraph of the State Program "Azerbaijan Youth in 2017-2021", is to educate the young generation in the spirit of patriotism, commemoration of the martyrs who gave their lives in the name of the independence of Azerbaijan and the protection of our lands. Head of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ali Mammadov, national hero Vahid Aliyev and veteran of the April hostilities Elmaddin Aghayev spoke about the significance of the event, stating that such actions are crucial for educating the younger generation in the spirit of love for the Motherland, preserving the history of independence of Azerbaijan and the martyrs who inscribed the page in the heroic chronicle of our country. As part of the campaign, young people cleaned the territory of the Alley of Martyrs and put things in order.
