Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rodrigo Labardini, visited the Gabala region. The Ambassador, who was welcomed by the Head of the Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, in Gabala REP, was told in detail about the history, economic situation, social and cultural life of the region. It was noted that positive results were achieved in the region as a result of large-scale measures taken by President Ilham Aliyev in the direction of the development of agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, vegetable growing, tobacco production, cocoon farming and animal husbandry. It was stressed that today the tourism infrastructure in the Gabala region is one of the main and important areas. As a result of the excellent conditions created here, the number of tourists coming here, is increasing significantly from year to year. Noting that he visited many regions of Azerbaijan, Rodrigo Labardini stressed that he had repeatedly visited the Gabala region and during each visit he witnessed the processes of rapid economic development taking place here. The Ambassador shared his views on cooperation in tourism and culture, noting that our country is known throughout the world for its hospitality. During the meeting, which was held in an atmosphere of sincerity, the sides discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and exchanged views on expanding opportunities for mutual relations.
