A meeting on the occasion of June 15 - National Salvation Day was held in the Gabala Region Post Office. At the meeting, the Chief of the Post Office, Rauf Karimov, said that our independence and the integrity of our lands were threatened by the unreliable activities of the heads of state after our independence was proclaimed in 1991. The people unequivocally demanded Heydar Aliyev to be the head the republic. At that time, the leaders of the ruling APFP, realizing the legitimate demands of the people, personally handed over the power to the brilliant personality, the great politician Heydar Aliyev. Coming to power, Heydar Aliyev started to work tirelessly towards a cessation of discord in the state, and reaching a ceasefire, he began activities aimed at strengthening the state and raising the economy. As a result of this activity of Heydar Aliyev, internal and external political stability was achieved, and our economy began to grow ascending. Thanks to this, today we have the strongest army in the region, the strongest state. The strength and power of our army manifested itself in the April battles. It was noted that today President Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor to the Heydar Aliyev course, is tirelessly working on the development and prosperity of our state. The meeting participants also noted that the National Salvation Day, associated with the name of national leader Heydar Aliyev, has turned into a glorious page in the history of Azerbaijan. Successful domestic and foreign policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev accelerated the development of Azerbaijan.
