The birthday of the martyr who died in the April battles was celebrated.
On June 22, an event dedicated to the birthday of the martyr who died in the April battles, Lieutenant Sahil Shirinov was held at the Gabala Vocational Training Center. The event, jointly organized by the Gabala Region Executive Power and "Zahar" Public Association for the Support of the Martyrs' Families, was attended by close relatives of the martyr, members of his family and public representatives. At the event, which began with the national anthem, the memory of all the martyrs who died in the battles, going for the integrity of our lands was honored with a minute of silence. Heads of the Division on Sociopolitical and Humanitarian Affairs of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Deputy Head of REP Ataya Osmanova, Chairman of the "Zahar" Public Association for the Support of the Martyrs' Families Sevinj Alizada, Head of the Region Education Department Arifa Bayramova, Head of the Gabala Sports Club Fariz Najafov and others spoke. Stressing that the memory about all the sons and daughters who died in the name of freedom and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan will live in the heart of our people, the speakers noted that as a result of the policy pursued by the head of state, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, our lands will soon be liberated from occupation. A video about various moments in the life of Sahil Shirinov was featured during the event. Speaking at the event, the martyr's mother Shahla Shirinova, who shared her memories of her son, expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event. In conclusion, a literary composition was prepared by students of the secondary school of the Bum settlement named after Tabriz Yagubov, where martyr Shahin Shirinov studied. Then the participants visited the martyr's grave in the Bum settlement and laid flowers on it.
