An extensive meeting of the Council on the works done in the first half of 2019 in the Gabala region and upcoming tasks was held.
On August 9, a meeting of the Council of the Gabala Region Executive Power about the results of the socio-economic development of the first half of 2019 and the challenges ahead was held. The event was attended by members of the Council under the regional Executive Power, representatives of the Executive Power, chairmen of municipalities, heads of departments, enterprises, organizations and entrepreneurs. The participants heard a report by the head of the regional Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, on the results of socio-economic development for the first half of 2019 and the challenges ahead. The report was followed by the speeches of the Director of the Gabala State Centre for Agrarian Development Rahib Ahmadov, the head of the Gabala Regional Financial Department Namig Aghayev and the head of the Gabala Regional Department of the State Social Protection Fund Arzu Hajiyev. At the meeting, the current situation in the sphere of socio-economic development was discussed in detail, upcoming tasks were identified, and an appropriate decision was made. Residents of the region Nazim Mustafayev, Sevil Talibova and Safar Safarov, who were awarded the jubilee medal 100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018) by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 27, 2019, were presented the medals at the meeting. Zahir Karimov, Head of the Information Support and Education Sector of the Executive Power of the Gabala Region, was presented the medal For Distinction in Public Service, which he was awarded with Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 1284 of June 22, 2019. The meeting was summed up by the head of the regional Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev.
