VI Gabala International Music Festival is presenting wonderful concerts to audience.

One of the stunning cultural projects of Heydar Aliyev Fund, VI Gabala International Music Festival is successfully running. Extracts from the works of great composers of Azerbaijan and Europe were performed in the concert held in chamber hall of “Qafqaz Resort” hotel located in Gabala city. The famous Russian pianist, honorary academician of the International Academy of the Arts under UN, professor of U.S. Julianne Music Academy Oxana Yablonskaya, the one of art directors of Gabala International Music Festival, the world-famous cellist, conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra “New Russia” Dmitry Yablonsky, rector of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, People’s artist Farhad Badalbayli, director of Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society named after Muslum Magomayev, well-known pianist, People’s Artist Murad Adigozalzada took part in the musical evening. The audience enjoyed the works performed by the participants of different authoritative international festivals, winners of prestigious contests – young talented pianist Aslan Aslanov, student of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, Presidential scholar Kanan Mayilov, cellist Murad Ibrahimov in the concert as well. The works of Friedrich Schopen, Sergey Rachmaninov, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Dmitri Shostakovich, Gara Garayev, Fikrat Amirov, Jovdat Hajiyev, Tofig Guliyev were performed in the musical evening. Thereafter the State Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibayli presented the next open air concert program to audience in accordance with the program of the festival. Extracts from the works of Azerbaijani and European composers were performed by the orchestra conducted by Merited Artist Fakhraddin Karimov in the concert. The member of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan, PhD in art study Lala Jafarova, laureate of a numerous prestigious international contests Murad Abbasov, concertmaster of Youth Chamber Orchestra of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, violinist Umida Abbasova took part in the concert. By performing the works of Arif Malikov, Musa Mirzayev, Arif Mirzayev, Leyla Gafarzada, Lala Jafarzada accompanied by an orchestra the musicians touched the hearts of audience with their amazing performances.
