Tree-planting action was run in order to support the development of eco-entrepreneurship.
Under joint organization of IDEA Public Association, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and Gabala region Executive Power, mass honey tree-planting campaign was run on December 10. During the mass campaign, to which hundreds of volunteers was joined, 7,000 trees acacia were planted. The event was organized as a part of IDEA Public Association project on the support of eco-entrepreneurship in the country. The goal of the project is to increase in Azerbaijan the range of the bees, which are the protectors of biodiversity, at the same time to provide the support to beekeeping in the country. In this regard, along with increase in the area of the forests with trees that produce nectar and pollen, it is planned to organize beekeeping trainings for young families and support them in this field. As known, taking into consideration important role of the bees and other pollen distributors in the protection of the biodiversity, the beekeeping is the safest and most useful type of the agriculture from the point of view of environment. Honey bees, taking an active part in the pollination of the plants, increase their productivity and resistance. The development of the plant world and the existence of bees depend on each other. Bees and some other insects, pollinating plants, provide not only individual restoration of plants, but also the development of certain species.
