Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Federal Republic of Germany in Azerbaijan Ms. Heidrun Tempel arriving in Gabala on visit to attend as a spectator the VI Gabala International Music Festival, as part of her visit met with the Head of District Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev.
Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary, received by the Head of District Executive Power in the administrative building of the District Executive Power, was provided with detailed information about the economic situation, social and cultural life of the region.
It was emphasized that this beautiful region with its charming and wonderful nature is engaged in organizing and holding of international and large-scale events. Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, describing the broad tourism opportunities in the region, brought to attention that Gabala region holds a specific place in the acquisition of the highest results in the tourism infrastructure of the country.
He also stressed that the new manufacturing enterprises established in the region along with the tourism sector, play a crucial role in improving the dynamics of economic development of the district.
Ambassador Heidrun Tempel stressing the close acquaintance with the socio - economic development of the country, spoke about the successful integration of the regions of the country into the European economy and culture, due to regional economic growth and rich culture.

During the meeting an exchange of views was held on some matters of mutual interest, and the importance of expanding cooperation ties in the field of tourism was stressed.
