An event dedicated to “Khojaly tragedy” was held at Gabala State Vocational Education Center
An event dedicated to “Khojaly tragedy” was held at Gabala State Vocational Education Center on February 20, 2020. The memory of Khojaly martyrs was honoured by a moment of silence. The psychologist of the Center Z.Huseynova, who opened the event with an introduction, provided the participants with the information about Khojaly tragedy. Then, the event was continued by a composition prepared by the students. The director of the Center, Candidate of Sciences in Economics Namik Muradov, speaking at the event, said that Khojaly genocide went down in the history of Azerbaijan as the most terrible and tragic page. Legal assessment of this tragedy was given in time of national leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev. As a result of correct policy implemented by our country, several countries recognized Khojaly tragedy as genocide. The film named "Scream", dedicated to Khojaly tragedy was shown at the event.
