The event was held at Gabala city complete secondary school No. 1 related to International Mother Language Day. The event was opened by the director of the school, Adila Aliyeva, with an introduction. Azerbaijani language and literature teacher Ramin Nabiyev made the report on history of this day, importance of its celebration. The head of the district educational department, Arifa Bayramova, spoke at the event and said that thanks to national leader Heydar Aliyev, our mother language - Azerbaijani language got the status of state language. We must be proud of it. The head of the department thanked the participants of the event. The students performed poems in their native language, the video clip was shown.
