The presentation of the project "Improvement of the opportunity to enter the financial market" was held in Gabala.
In order to expand opportunities for micro-, small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs), the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBİA) continues to cooperate with banks. The next project in this direction is "Improvement of the opportunity to enter the financial market", implemented jointly with AFB Bank. The project for SMEs striving to obtain a loan from a bank and meeting the relevant requirements mainly provides for the possibility of providing pledge in the area of residence (even a garden plot can be a pledge), loans to farmers in the amount of up to 5,000 AZN without pledge and pre-harvest benefits (only interest will be paid per month), microcredit in accordance with the specifics of the business, the provision of benefits for all types of loans. Also, within the project, entrepreneurs will be informed by the specialists in the field of finance, accounting and market research. The first presentation of the project "Improvement of the opportunity to enter the financial market" was held in Gabala. At the event, organized with the participation of more than 50 entrepreneurs who applied to the Gabala and Oghuz “KOB Dostu” of KOBİA regarding the access to financial resources, as well as representatives of the Agency and “AFB Bank”, detailed information about the project and answers to the questions of entrepreneurs were given. It should be noted that to expand the opportunities for SME entities to access financial resources, KOBİA regularly informs SMEs about available state financing mechanisms, encourages entrepreneurs to use concessional state loans, as well as studies alternative financing mechanisms and cooperate with banks in this area.
