Participants of “Let’s explore our country” enlightening tour-campaign in Gabala.

Participants of “Let’s explore our country” enlightening tour-campaign were in Gabala region. According to the program pupils from Guba greeted and accommodated in “Qafqaz Yeddi Gozal” hotel on a high level were acquainted with historical-cultural monuments, tourism facilities and museums of the region.
Pupils participating in tour-campaign were visually familiarized with information they had heard and read from the books about city and regions as well as history, culture and tourism opportunities of the region.
Firstly, pupils got information on the history, culture and ethnography of Gabala – the capital of Caucasian Albania for 900 years in the historical-ethnographic museum of the region.
It was mentioned that more than 12 thousand exhibit items of historical and scientific importance reflecting 2500-year history of Gabala were protected in the main holdings of a museum. Pupils from Guba visited Gabala city mosque as well.
Thereafter, pupils visited Heydar Aliyev Center and got acquainted with photos and documents displaying life and political activity of Great Leader. Over viewing the production facilities of the region tour participants closely watched production process in “Beltmann” piano factory. Campaign participants were informed that pianos of “Beltmann” worldwide brand were manufactured in the factory. Taking interest in tourism sector pupils were provided with detailed information on “Tufandag” Winter-Summer Tourism Holiday Complex.
It was stated that about 3 thousand persons provided service in the complex where four cable lines had been constructed within the confines of the first phase construction, building works had been completed in five of ten ski pistes, restaurants provided with whole conditions for resort of tourists, all ski pistes had been supplied with artificial snow-making system. Afterwards pupils visiting Nij settlement watched Alban church “Cotari” with great interest. It was emphasized that the church was one of the most ancient and important monuments. Nij settlement is considered a little model of tolerance. At the end of their tour to Gabala pupils from Guba visited five-star “Qafqaz Riverside”, “Qafqaz Resort”, thereafter tour participants got acquainted with “Qafqaz Sport” hotels, “Fitnes” resort-health center, modern tourism infrastructure, wonderful nature of the region.
