The head of Gabala region Executive power held a video conference.

The head of Gabala region Executive power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, held a video conference on April 15, with the participation of law enforcement agencies, heads of relevant organizations and administrative-territorial representatives in connection with the measures related to fighting against the coronavirus pandemic in the region. At the meeting, Sabuhi Abdullayev informed the conference participants in detail about the preventive measures taken by the government of Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev against the coronavirus pandemic in our country, and extensively analyzed the work implemented in Gabala region in this field against the background of ongoing activities. In his speech, the head of regional Executive power noted, that in connection with the requirements and recommendations of Operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, extensive educational work is regularly implemented among the population, and relevant structures strictly monitor compliance with the requirements of special quarantine regime. At the event, it was noted, that on streets, sidewalks, parks and lanes, in public residential buildings and in their courtyards in Gabala city and settlements of the region, disinfection works are regularly implemented, and the sanitary and hygienic situation is under the control. Solving the problems of lonely people over 65 years of age in the region is the focus of attention of volunteers of regional Executive power, local Executive representatives and municipal bodies. The list of low-income families living in our region is specified, and they are constantly provided with necessary food aid by relevant institutions and local businessmen. The head of regional Executive power noted, that at present, due to the period of intensive work in the field of agriculture, relevant structures should create conditions for the implementation of the spring field works in accordance with the recommendations and requirements of Operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers. If there are difficulties, this should be reported to special headquarters established in REP. In conclusion, Sabuhi Abdullayev once again spoke about the measures taken by the government to prevent coronavirus infection in the country, and emphasized the importance of the citizens' compliance with special rules applied. The head of the REP noted, that resolute steps are taken by relevant state structures under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and first Vice-President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva to ensure that our country gets out of this ordeal as soon as possible. Representatives of administrative and territorial administration who took part in the video conference provided the information about the work implemented in connection with special quarantine measures in the settlements. The heads of relevant organizations of the region, declared, that they will make even more efforts throughout the quarantine regime to fulfill and strengthen the obligations assigned to them in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and control social isolation. The event specified upcoming tasks for further strict implementation of the requirements and recommendations of Operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
