The schooldchildren of Imishli and Beylagan regions were in Gabala.
The schooldchildren of Imishli and Beylagan regions were in our region on 16 and 17 August within the frames of the project implemented under the motto “Let’s explore our country”.
The objective of the visit of the schoolchildren is to become familiar with the historical-cultural monuments, tourist attractions and museums, wide renovation and reconstruction works carried out in the region.
Firstly, the schoolchildren came to historic and local lore museum of the region, got detailed information about the rich and centuries-long history of Gabala. Then they visited Heydar Aliyev Center.
They were informed in details about the life of the National Leader in the center.
The tour participants, examining manufacturing companies in the region, were closely acquainted with the production process in the world renowned “Beltman” piano factory, listened to the pieces of our national music. Schoolchildren, interested in the tourism sector, were in the five-star “Qafqaz Riverside”, “Qafqaz Resort”, “Qafqaz Sport” hotels, “Fitnes” recreation and health center, “Tufandagh” Winter-Summer Tourism Resort Complex, contemplated Gabala city from the highest apex via cableway, took commemorative photographs. They were also given detailed information on modern tourism infrastructure created in the region the nature, the picturesque nature of the region.
Schoolchildren were in Chukhur Gabala historic art reserve, immortalizing our culture even today, got acquainted with the archaeological excavations carried out there, demonstrably enriched the information they’d obtained from the textbooks on ancient Gabala, the capital of Caucasian Albania.
At the end of the visit, they arrived at the Nij settlement and very carefully listened to the information provided on Udi ethos living there.
