"Learning our country" tour-campaign goes on.
"Learning our country" tour-action is going on in the republic among students of IX-XI classes on the basis of instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.
Until yesterday, students from Guba, Gajigabul, Gobustan, Sabirabad, Saatli, Beylagan, Imishli, Agdjabedy, Zardab, Kurdamir, Tartar regions visited Gabala, historical place of our country. Students from Naftalan and Barda regions, travelling on Ismayilli-Gabala-Sheki route since August 25, came to Gabala the day later.
Their first journey started with "Tufandag" Winter and Summer Tourism and Recreation Complex. After getting acquainted with the works carried out for the development of this beautiful place and tourism of Gabala, they visited the historical museum of the district, the Heydar Aliyev Center, Juma Mosque, saw the ruins of the ancient city on the territory of the Chukhur village of Gabala, being the capital of Caucasian Albania for 900 years, excavations carried out here, and then came to the Albanian "Chotari" church in the Nij village. From Gabala students headed to Sheki.
