Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Great Britain to the Republic of Azerbaijan Irfan Siddiq arrived in Gabala on visit.
On August 28, 2014 Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Great Britain to the Republic of Azerbaijan Irfan Siddiq arrived in Gabala region on visit.
Ambassador was received by the Head of the District Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev in the administrative building of District Executive Power.
During the meeting, the Head of the District Executive Power spoke about the importance of expanding the relations between the two countries in various fields every day, provided the guest with detailed information about the state of the economic, social and cultural life of the region.
It was noted that the ongoing international events are playing a crucial role in increasing the pace of development of Gabala.
It was also brought to the attention that industrial enterprises and new jobs started here are the subject of employment, and an integral part of the dynamics of development.
Ambassador was informed that today in Gabala tourism infrastructure is considered one of the major and important areas. The conditions created here lead to the fact that every year the number of tourists coming here to relax is visibly growing.
Noting that he had been in many regions of the country, Ambassador said that the visit to Gabala region has informational nature.
Mentioning that today he witnessed all that he had heard about the great potential of Gabala region, guest highly praised the work done.
