The activities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic are continuing in Gabala.
On August 8, 2020, mobile groups established in the region continued their raids. They carried out educational talks with people working in the field of trade, public catering, and at other facilities. During the raids, the importance of keeping a social distance to prevent the spread of the disease, using medical masks, and properly observing hygiene rules was once again brought to the attention of citizens. Within the day, an inspection was carried out at 39 trade and 56 other facilities most visited by citizens. The families of 2 deceased were issued a warning in connection with carried out funeral ceremony. For violating the quarantine rules, 1 resident of Baku was fined 200 AZN, 3 employees of a trade facility and 1 employee of a computer store were fined 100 AZN each under the corresponding article of the Code of Administrative Offences. In accordance with the decisions and orders of the Operational Headquarters, regular raids continue on the territory of the region
