On August 17, 2020, the raids were continued in trade and other facilities most visited by the citizens to meet the requirements of the special quarantine regime. Mobile groups operating in the region conducted educational talks with residents, explaining the requirements and recommendations for the fight against the pandemic. The importance of wearing medical masks, observing social distance and other requirements established by the Operational Headquarters was once again brought to the attention of citizens. During the day, 49 trade facilities and 56 other most visited sites were inspected. For violating the quarantine rules, 1 resident of Baku was fined 200 AZN, 1 employee of a trade facility and 1 employee of a public catering facility were fined 100 AZN each under the corresponding article of the Code of Administrative Offences. The families of 1 deceased was issued a warning in connection with carried out funeral ceremony. Activities to combat coronavirus are ongoing in the region.
