Raids continue in Gabala due to the special quarantine regime.
On August 18, 2020, the raids were continued in the region to ensure compliance with the requirements of the special quarantine regime to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). Mobile groups conducted raids to investigate the compliance of public catering, trade, and other facilities in the region with the rules established due to the special quarantine regime imposed on the territory of the country, and to take the necessary measures. During the raids, the importance of using medical masks and maintaining social distance was once again brought to the attention of citizens. Within the day, an inspection was carried out at 39 trade and 54 other facilities most visited by citizens. The family of 1 deceased was issued a warning in connection with carried out funeral ceremony. For violating the quarantine rules, 2 residents of Bilikh village were fined 100 AZN, 1 employee of a trade facility and 1 employee of a car repair shop were fined 100 AZN each under the corresponding article of the Code of Administrative Offences. Educational events are regularly held in this direction.
